Active Shooter situations are unpredictable and evolve quickly. They impact the entire community. The University of West Alabama Police Department is hosting a Free Active Shooter Workshop on August 31, 2022 // 10 a.m. - noon.
This workshop is open to UWA faculty, staff, students, teachers, principals, law enforcement, dispatchers, public and court officials, general public, etc.
Participants will learn:
- How to respond when an active shooter is in your vicinity
- How to respond when law enforcement arrives on scene
- Recognize signs of potential workplace violence
